All the Way Around St. Thomas
August 10th, 2008

Our friend Jimmy was kind enough to take us all the way around St. Thomas on his open fish, Bambooshay.  The first stop was a cut between two islands where the current rips through.  We did a swift drift free dive through the cut and saw some healthy soft corals and a few large tarpon.

While exploring an island North of St. Thomas we came across a small cave, so we had to swim in to check it out.  The cave was filled with tiny silversides, or schooling bait fish.

Megan's Bay was calm enough for us to try water skiing.  Everyone made it up on the first try!

For lunch we cruised over to Hans Lolick Island.  There is a perfect white sand beach with plenty of palm trees.  The island even has wild donkeys, goats & chickens.

The final stop was Caravel Rock for some of the best free diving we've done to date.  The rocks are teeming with bait fish.  Giant tarpon and tuna were feeding along with plenty of sea birds.
